Campbell University is the largest private educational institution in North Carolina. It started in a small church in Bules Creek in January of 1887. It had 16 students. In the “4+1” program, students study an extra year to receive a baccalaureate and a master’s at the same time. To take advantage of this program, a student must announce their intention to participate early in their educational program. Students who choose this pathway must use Business Administration as their minor degree to fulfill all the prerequisites necessary to accomplish the masters-level during their fifth year. Campbell University Application Requirements

Requirements to apply for admission to undergraduate studies include SAT or ACT exam results delivered to the Admissions Office. The student must include an official high school transcript with the application that shows the completion of these units:
  • Four units of English
  • Three units of College-prep mathematics including Algebra I & II, Geometry
  • Three units of natural sciences, at least one with labs
  • Two units of social science including U.S. History
  • Two units of a single foreign language (recommended but not required)
