Students do fieldwork to meet the minimum requirement to obtain a Florida license. Christian studies, leadership, nursing, school counseling, divinity and marriage and family therapy are some of the other graduate programs offered by the university.

The university designed three degree programs for graduate students that let them study religion and one other subject. This includes an MBA and Master of Divinity program, which teaches students how to use their beliefs in the business industry. The Christian studies and global development program includes opportunities for students to do missionary work for credit as they study the impact of religion around the world. Students can earn a Master of Divinity with a graduate degree in clinical mental health too.

About Palm Beach Atlantic University

The distance education programs once offered through the mail are now available in the form of online programs and classes that PBA offers at night. PBA has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students, many of whom take part in missionary trips every year.

The National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) all awarded the university accreditation for programs in those fields too. As a regionally accredited university, PBA can give financial aid to students after it receives the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). That accreditation came from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Palm Beach Atlantic University Application Requirements

Students can apply to PBA as early as the summer after their junior years in high school. They can go online to find the university’s code, which they’ll enter on the SAT or ACT to have their scores sent to PBA. Those who want to view their scores first can request that the board send their information later. Students also need to submit a high school transcript and apply online. Through the university’s dual enrollment programs, students can take classes at PBA as long as they attend a partner Christian high school. The university allows them to earn up to 24 credits. To apply, high school students need to be in their junior or senior years and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. PBA also requires that they maintain this GPA while attending the university.

The university has different requirements for undergrads who want to take evening classes. They need to apply online, pay a $35 application fee and submit an official GED report or high school transcript. The university also requires that they take an on-campus writing assessment. Graduate students also need to apply with a $50 application fee. They will receive essay questions from their admissions counselors that they can write at home and submit to the university. Faculty members will interview students for each program and look over their letters of recommendation, which can come from their ministers, former teachers or professional references. PBA encourages students to look at each program to see if it has any additional requirements.

Tuition and Financial Aid
