About Endicott College

Endicott College is located in Beverly, Massachusetts. It began as Endicott Junior College in 1939. The institution was founded by Eleanor Tupper and her husband. Their goal was to instruct young women who would eventually enter the workforce. The college evolved from a two-year to a four-year college in the 1980s. It grew substantially in that decade and beyond. Students enjoy a suburban campus that covers 235 acres in Beverly. There are many historic buildings  on the campus. Students who play sports at Endicott College play in NCAA Division III games as the Gulls.  Students frequent the nearby Brindle Beach and Tupper Beach.

Endicott College Accreditation Details

The charter for the college was approved by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1939. The college gained state approval to award associate’s degrees in 1944. It’s accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Many programs and degrees have earned programmatic accreditation on top of the college’s institutional accreditation. Approvals have been granted by:

Endicott College Application Requirements

Students will begin the application process by submitting:

Students should note that the college doesn’t participate in the Common Application program that many schools in Massachusetts use. Transcripts and test scores must come directly from the student’s high school or college and the standardized testing agency. Students may submit additional items they feel might help the admissions team  make a decision on the student’s application. Items may include a letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor. They may submit a resume that highlights things like extracurricular and athletic activities. Prospective students may also submit details on work experience and other accomplishments in high school.

Tuition and Financial Aid

The undergraduate tuition rate for students at Endicott College is $33,304 for the year. Housing is $10,79 per year, and a meal plan is $4,866 per year. Students can make different choices for their housing options and meal plans that can increase or decrease the yearly cost for those items. For example, meal plans range from $2,372 for a five-meal plan, which is offered to commuter students. $4,866 is the maximum amount a student will pay. Graduate students will pay a rate consistent with the program they choose. For the Master of Business Administration degree, students will pay $761 per credit hour. The Master of Education program is $507 per credit hour. The Master of Science in Information Technology is $761 per credit hour. The Master of Arts in Interior Architecture is $798 per credit hour. Doctoral programs are billed by the course or for the entire semester. For example, the Ed.D. is $5,546 per semester, and the Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis is $6,554 per semester. About 89 percent of its students receive some type of financial aid. There is more than $53 million worth of yearly disbursements for:

Students must also maintain good academic standing throughout their college careers to maintain financial aid awards. The Office of Admission is in charge of awarding scholarships to students.
